A & K | Marina Village Conference Center Wedding
I was asked to 2nd shoot this wedding at the Marina Village Conference Center in San Diego with Flock & Fauna Photographics. When I’m 2nd shooting I usually photograph the groom and groomsmen as they’re getting ready before the ceremony. I also shoot things at a different angle or perspective than my partner.
The groom got ready at home and then we headed to a local park for some formal (and not so formal) photos. I always love the vibe before the ceremony when everyone is in good spirits and excited about the events ahead. The wedding colors were blue and white and the groom wore a classic blue suit while the groomsmen wore coordinating gray suits. The bride had a gorgeous bouquet of off-white roses accented with violet and blue flowers and some succulents sprinkled in.
The wedding ceremony and reception took place at Marina Village in San Diego. This is a great wedding venue for any couple no matter what your budget or the size of your wedding. If you choose to have your ceremony here, you’ll have a beautiful backdrop of the marina.
The Ceremony and Reception
The bride’s mom and dad escorted her down the aisle. It was a quick and lighthearted traditional ceremony. They really lucked out with the light which was perfect! Afterward, everyone had a great time celebrating at the reception. The bride and groom finally got to showcase their choreographed first dance that they had been working so hard on. As you can see from the photos, the couple had a great time dancing and the guests really enjoyed the performance. This was followed by dining and more festivities. Then back out on the dance floor as everyone young and old joined in on the fun.
It was definitely a wedding to remember! Here are some of the highlights and my favorites photos from the day.
Thank you for the opportunity to work with you, Flock & Fauna Photographics.
