Balboa Park Cactus Garden Elopement Portraits | Jennifer & Vincent
Jennifer and Vincent eloped at the San Diego County Administration Building, a.k.a. the courthouse. They wanted an intimate ceremony with their family and friends. They chose the San Diego courthouse because it has a lot of charm and character being that it’s a historic building and in a great location. But unlike most couples who have portraits done on the grounds afterward, they opted to go to a location nearby. This way they got the best of both worlds by taking advantage of the courthouse for their ceremony and one of the many beautiful locations San Diego has to offer for their elopement portraits.
The couple wanted something unique and different that fit their style and personality. Those chose the Balboa Park Cactus Garden. Luckily Balboa Park is conveniently located within a short driving distance from the courthouse. If you’ve never been to the Old Cactus Garden you should check it out! It’s a historic garden that’s been around since 1935. It has large cacti, succulents, and exotic plants. I was excited to do their portraits here because I’ve always wanted to do a shoot at the Cactus Garden. It was a perfect fit, as the style of Jennifer’s dress and the colors of her bouquet really blended in nicely with the setting.
Congratulations Jennifer & Vincent! You are such a sweet and kind couple and it was an honor to be a part of your special day!
