One of the perks here is that your ceremony and reception are in close proximity for maximum convenience. But what truly sets this place apart is its very own dock. Envision this: arriving and departing in your own boat if you’re a boating enthusiast. Now, that’s what I call a grand exit! And don’t forget the cozy firepit where your guests can gather and soak in the warm ambiance.

Garden Wedding Venue
The Thursday Club
This venue offers the best of both worlds which is one reason why I love it so much. While technically classified as a garden venue, what truly captivated me was the essence of an ocean venue without the sand!
Tucked away in the serene residential neighborhood of Pt. Loma, The Thursday Club is actually a banquet hall that exudes historical charm, with its lofty ceilings, antique chandeliers, and rich wood floors. Guests will delight in the intimate garden and balcony, perfect for savoring ocean views or enjoying a sunset during cocktail hour.
In my humble opinion, the ideal time to exchange vows here is in March when the garden bursts to life with vibrant spring flowers. There’s an abundance of free parking, and if you’re feeling adventurous, the iconic Sunset Cliffs are just minutes away, offering a stunning backdrop for epic bride and groom portraits.
