Amid the uncertainty of 2020, many couples have decided to put their weddings on hold and elope instead. I love that couples are finding ways to make their marriage happen no matter what the size! With an elopement, you can have a memorable and intimate wedding. Luckily we have great weather year-round, with many beautiful outdoor and scenic places, making it easy to find an ideal spot for your San Diego elopement.
Rolando and Nancy chose two great locations, the Arbor at Presidio Park in Mission Hills and Windandsea Beach in La Jolla. Because they eloped, we didn’t have to adhere to a strict timeline. Therefore we were able to go to multiple locations for their portraits. This is one of the best things about an elopement, not to mention you can have as much time as you want for couples portraits. Also, you get to spend your day with your closest friends and family.
If you’re considering eloping or having an intimate ceremony, just do it! San Diego is an amazing place to get married. We’ve got beautiful parks, beaches, mountains, and the desert nearby. I’d love to help you capture the memorable moments and help you plan your dream elopement. Contact me here!
If you’re wondering how to get a San Diego marriage license, I’ve put together a simple step-by-step guide to walk you through the process. Once you’ve read through it, you can start your application directly on the San Diego County Clerk’s Office website.
And if you’re thinking about a courthouse elopement, you’re in the right place—we have such a beautiful courthouse here. You can read more about why couples love it in my post on the top reasons for getting married at the San Diego courthouse.
