One of the best things about this venue is its affordability, especially considering its stunning ocean views. The nearby suspension bridge and ocean overlooks provide plenty of photo opportunities, and the shade from the cypress trees is a lifesaver for midday portraits. Plus, the sunset views are absolutely breathtaking.

1. Can I use my own vendors?  While Martin Johnson House provides an approved caterer list, couples have the flexibility to choose other vendors for their event, provided they obtain a one-day certificate of insurance.
2. What days of the week can I schedule a wedding? Weddings can be scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
3. Can we serve alcohol? Couples may bring their own alcohol, which the venue’s approved beverage provider must serve.
4. What are the rules regarding music? Live bands and recorded music are permitted until 10 pm, ensuring a lively atmosphere without disturbing neighboring residents.
5. What are the options for dance areas? While the deck remains a favored spot for dancing, couples have the flexibility to choose between the deck, lawn, or indoor cottage space for their dance floor.
6. What is the parking situation? Guests must have a parking permit, which can be distributed in advance or by a lot attendant for an hourly fee.
7. Can we have a rehearsal? Limited to the wedding party, rehearsals must be scheduled with the event manager to ensure a seamless experience.
8. Are sparkler exits allowed? Unfortunately, for safety and environmental reasons, we do not permit rice, birdseed, rose petals, confetti, sand, sparklers, floating sky lanterns, fire pits, glitter, or tiki torches on the premises.
