Romantic Presidio Park Engagement Photos

Presidio Park is one of my favorite locations for engagement photos in San Diego, with open grassy areas, mature trees, colorful landscaping, and beautiful views throughout the park. I’ve photographed numerous sessions here over the years, and it consistently offers so much variety along with some of the dreamiest light. Later in the day, the sunlight filters beautifully through the trees, creating that warm, golden glow you can see throughout this session. If you’re considering a Presidio Park photoshoot, the park also offers beautiful Mission-style architecture around the historic Junípero Serra Museum for a completely different look.

For these Presidio Park engagement photos, we focused on the natural areas of the park, taking advantage of the open lawn, large trees, colorful flowers, and gorgeous late-afternoon light. I love that we can create so many different looks in one location while keeping the session relaxed and easygoing.

Presidio Park isn’t just beautiful for engagement sessions—it’s also a great setting for intimate weddings and wedding portraits.
