San Diego Air & Space Museum Wedding Photos
This is my second time photographing a wedding at the San Diego Air & Space Museum. I was asked to assist Kelly of Kelly Jett Photography. I always get excited about working at this venue because it’s one of my favorites. The bride and groom are both engineers, so it’s easy to see why they chose it. As a photographer, I love it because the lighting inside the pavilion is like a huge softbox and the backdrop of planes are beyond cool with endless photo possibilities.
The day started out pretty calm. Everybody was in good spirits and excited for the festivities ahead. I took some quick photos of the ladies in their robes and then I was off to work with the guys. We took some fun photos with the planes in the background and then it was time for the first look.
The blue, red and pink color scheme chosen by the bride made for a nice pop of color in the venue and blended well with the colors inside the pavilion. For the ceremony, the bride and groom said their vows underneath an airplane. So cool! Afterward, everyone had fun dining and dancing as the night ended with a surprise Taco Bell delivery and the bride and groom belting out Don’t Stop Believin’ on the dance floor with their friends.
What an amazing and memorable day! Hope everyone enjoys these San Diego Air & Space Museum wedding photos!
Thank you Kelly Jett Photography for the opportunity to work with you. Always a pleasure!
