What’s more, the venue provides ample options for shooting in mid-day lighting, which is a significant advantage.

As wedding photographers, we often lack control over the timing of ceremonies and portraits. While shooting during the golden hour is ideal, it’s not always possible due to timeline constraints. Bernardo Winery’s ability to offer plenty of mid-day shooting locations, with open shade, is a major asset for photographers seeking to capture exceptional images under challenging lighting conditions.

I thoroughly enjoyed capturing moments at this venue.  So, it’s no surprise that I felt a bit disappointed when the couples’ portion of the wedding day came to an end. However, I’m excited for the next opportunity to create stunning photos at this one-of-a-kind San Diego rustic wedding venue.
