Sunset Cliffs Engagement Photos | San Diego Wedding Photographer
Living in San Diego it’s common for couples to want Sunset Cliffs engagement photos. With its breathtaking views of the cliffs and the Pacific Ocean, it’s a must-see photo spot for anyone visiting San Diego. It’s gorgeous any time of the year and one of the most scenic places to watch a California sunset. In fact, it’s so popular for couples that on any particular day you might even catch a glimpse of an elopement or surprise proposal.
For this session, we lucked out with a low tide which means we were free to go down the staircase and explore the beach area. This gave us lots more photo options as it can be a little crowded sometimes at the top of the stairs. Fair warning though! You’ll have to do some navigating on slippery rocks. Luckily my clients were adventurous and didn’t mind. Anything for the photo! Right?!
Once we navigated the rocky terrain and found an ideal spot, I gave this couple some quick posing tips before we began our session. Like most couples, they were worried that they would be awkward in front of my camera. But that wasn’t the case at all! It didn’t take them long to relax and let their love shine through. They were like naturals and rocked their session! They were so cute and easy-going too! I had such a great time photographing them that I didn’t even want to stop. Although I must admit, that’s often the case at most of my photo sessions. LOL!
